I am agree with the classification that we do in class about this three characters. The differences between them is in the role like principal character. Because Ivan Martin in his movie he takes everything that he wants, nobody cares, just him. This behavior gives to the character the classification of an antihero.  

For the other side, Derrik and Leroy have a role of heroes in their histories. The first one is a boxer that never gives up until reach his goal. The second one is a Rastafari that the only thing that he wants is live his live like a musician, but when the mafia attack him and stole his motorcycle, he decides take justice by himself and become a Rastafari robin Hood.

Personally, I don´t like this movie. I think that was confuse for two reason. One of them was the speed with which the character spoke, they talk so fast that was difficult understand them and the creole became the situation harder.

The other reason was that the exiting part of the film was only in the final part. This made that the rest of the movie felt slow and sometimes boring.

Finally, I have to say that may favorite movie of the three was Ghett´a Life. Because this movie was the only one that can make me feel eager about how it was going to end the film and what is going to happen with the characters, like the mom of Derrik, because we can’t now if she lives or died until the end of the final fight.

I really like the history inside the movie. How enemies become friends and people that was in the  Derrick side became  the real villain in the movie.  

ghett'a life

My favorite character in the movie was Derrick. I ikwon that is a clishé, but I really conect with his history. It was someting enivitable, everyone loves the history of an athlete who braks his barries.
The character has different elements that made him really interesting for the audience, one of them was the rise of the athlete, who surpassed his complicated origin and a family tragedy in search of his dream. The second element was the "following the  dream" of the main character. Stay apart of political conflicts and ony practiced the sport that he loves. This situation was very hard for Derrick, because his own parents didn´t support him, in fact his father was shock because his son practice boxing in a "green" gym.

This is why  a like this character, because It doesn´t matter what happened Derrick never gave up with his dream.. 

Well  in the movie  we can see the political conflict in the clothe, because one side use orange and the other use green to represent their political position. The colors also work for divide the  territories between political parts, so nobody who use orange clothes could pass to green territory and was  the same for the  other side. 

The violence is the most importan consequences of political conflict. In the article Michael Manley´s vision talk about how violence was a conflict in Jamaica and after 1975 this it increased. We can saw the this same violence in the movie  when Derrick and  his family  was threatened for the gangster who controlled the territorie. 

Im this  movie exist diference  between the position of woman in society and the position that they have in the film The harder they come. It is hard to say if the diference is big ot little, because  in both films it is show us the life of people of defferent relaities, but the differences exist. 

You can saw the difference in Derrick´s mother, when she passes over authority of Derrick´s father and gave to her son alow  to keep practicing box. In the other side, in The  Harder They Come the  role of the woman was only stay at home and didn´t have opinion. We can saw this when the couple of Ivan Martin told him that he should stopperd his criminal behavior and he didn´t listen to her. In ghett'a life we can see  the oposite, Derrick´s mother imposed her decision over her husban, and this was enough to Derrick and the gym to allow him continue with his training

The Harder They Come

about the movie, i like the way the music have a relationship with the plot of the film. An example of this is when we can hear "you can get it if you really want" this letter have a really strong connection with Ivan Martin´s travel and his actions across the movie. Also i like how ends Ivan, because his dead was very similar a western scene like Ivan saw in the cinema

I know that is repetitive, but my favorite character in the movie was Ivan Martin, because this character have a very deep history . First, his mom did not accept him in her house, because she can not deal with him in this moment, she did not had money for two people. Second, Ivan just wanted be a singer, but he had to submit to the monopoly of music of Jamaica and for this the character it fell in crime.

i recommend this movie, but only people who can understand the context of Jamaica society or are fans of Jamaican culture, like reggae. the movie is a old production, for this the special effects are not good and some people  can think that the quality of the movie is inferior. But if we ignore the special effects the movie is really entertaining, and if someone do not know about Caribbean culture, they can also have a good time.

This film contribute to understand the Jamaican after independence from Great Britain. Is for the that we can know how did it work the musical industries, under control of one man, the producer, who decided what song became a hit and what not. Another thing we can understand with the movie is the strong presence of crime in the society and how easy it is to fall into it.

You should visit the CNN website, is a very good site to keep inform and kwon about facts that take place in all the word. In this website, you can find a lot of news, articles, videos and radio show.
The website has a lot of options about what kind of new do you want, like "mundo", in this option you can find information about all important things that happened in all the word. the good thing about this website is that it gives you a lot of different information about economy, opinion, sports.
some of its regular feature is have his own radio show, that it is very useful for people who can read. Other feature is that it has the option to change the language and the quality of the news doesn´t decrease.

I like this site because is very complete about news and user-friendly, so any people can use it. Personally, I always use this website to inform me when I have a test or I need to know about something related to my career.

Art

I really like go to museums. When I was a child my mom took me to every museum in Santiago and today I still going. I visited all the Santiago museums, because now is like a hobby to me.

Considering that I am not an artist, I can say that I am really good with pastel crayons. I learned to painting when I was in my second year of high school. My art teacher gave me the idea of doing a painting about Eiffel tower using the technique called pointillism. when I finished the paint, I realize that I really enjoy it. So, when I have time I decide pass my day painting point after point.

Personally, I like modern art, I  don`t understand why some people hate that kind of art, because to me modern art give the opportunity to people to can see the world through other point of view and think in a different way to affront reality.

One of my favorites art work of all time is the "wanderer above the sea of fog". I really do not kwon why I like this painting, but I saw it on internet when I was in high school and still today I can not get out it of my mind.

my favorite photo

I love take photos. I learned to take it in my second year of career, when I took photojournalisim classes. After that photography turned into one of my favorite hobbies. And now I have my one camera, so I can take photos when and where I want.

I took this picture while I was walking to the university and a water hose exploded. So I thought "this is a really good photo", I took out my camera and with one knee on the floor I took it. This photo shows a drops of water flying for the air. behind the drops you can see a car, a person and a traficlights.  I was take this picture the last year `s movilization in Greece street. I like this picture because it shows the beauty of a street and somepleople can`t see this beauty, but a can do it everytime a see the photo. Also it is special to me because I walk along this street every day, so when I pass by this place I inmediately remember the photo.

My favourite movie

I always love moves, since I was a child. My parents took me to the cinema with brother and sister once a month. Now, I still be a great fan of movies, but I can`t go to cinema because I don`t have enough time.
My favourite kind of films are science ficion and superhero movies, and example are the marvel movies and alien movies like "the avengers" and "alien". I saw a movie a week a ago with my brother. We went to the Costanera to see "endgame" the last movie about avengers.

My favourite all-time movie is "endgame". This films shot on location in New York, after what happend in "infinity war". Where the avengers look for the way to undo what Thanos did in the last movie. So, They start to use the time travel to can defeat the villain. Many people stars in this film, some of them are Robert downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth. The reason I like this movie is because this film can did something unthinkable to cinema industries. this film can put together almos thirty superhero in the big screen at the same time. I saw this film two times, because It is a new one. I really reccomend It. It is a great movie, perfect to enjoy a free evening with the family or friends.

I would like to see again it`s enyone of star wars saga. I love those movies, I grew up with them. And I don`t care the quality of special effect of the first ones. I will see it over and over, because this movies open a door to imagination and to think about life in other planets.

my carrer

As a child I wanted to travel arround the word, because I always hate the idea of stay in a office all the days. This idea still in my mind today, I can imagene me caught in four wall, working with a computer in front of me. But the thing change when I grew up, when my mom and dad told me that my ideal job It sounded like a move of "Indiana Jones".

After I did PSU and I had a big problem in front of me. When I  went to the university to investigated about carrers, I realized that the carrer i wanted in that moment, It wasn´t what I think thought. So I didn´t a idea about what carrer I went to study. Then my parents convinced of studying journalism, because archeology It wasn´t a n option to me.

So, I went to University of Chile to study Journalism. Now, I am in my third year of the carrer. In my time in the university, I have a lot of experinces, sometimes good esperiences and another time bad. One of my bad experiences was when my friends and I had lunch and a smoke bomb fell into the lunch counter. But, I have had good experinces, like the time when I learned to tke photos in class, and I relized that I really love take pictures, especially landscapes.

I always think about what kind of job I would have after I finish of study. Sometimes, I think leave my desicion about work in a office, because that kind of job It is better paid, but I don´t be happy. So, I prefer a job where I can move all the time and do different taks. I think a good job for me would be international journalit or photographer for the National Geographic.

Meet my best friend: My cellphone

well, my cellphones is a piece of technology. Everybody in word have one. My cellphone is a Samsung A8 and is a very efficient to me. It was a present of my parents, they gave me the last summer, when my old phone died in misterious way.

personally, i never used a expencive phone before, but my parents think woud be good for my carrer.
And now i used it for everything, for record interviews, for investigations and keep me informed about news. This cellphone became a inportant tool of my trade, because i used it everydays, in everymoment.

I have to admit that i love this piece of technology because I can do everything with it. also, I like its color, the black is oone of my favorite colors. My life without my cellphone woud be slowly and not confortable like my life is now.

My life in a short history

I was born in a hospital in Santiago, Chile, in Vitacura neighborhood, in 1998.
when I grew up, I moved to Peñaflor, a little town in the outskirts of Santiago. Where I lived with my family, my mom, my dad, my little brother and sister.

I started Terranova school, where Ihad my elementary and high education. I din`t have many friends in high sochool, but i went to an archery club in the town and in that place, I made very good friendship.
In2017, I started terciary education at Universidad de Chile to study journalism.
I dindn`t like the campus at first sight and now my opinion didn`t change with the passing of the years. But also, I joined a very special group of friends and now they are very special to me. 
I still practice archery in my free time, I really love that sport and i was lucky to travel to United States a couple of time before I went to the university
