the postgraduate course that I would like to take

 

My reasons to do a postgraduate course are very simple. I want a better opportunity like a professional and the best way to do it is keep studying and I think that a postgraduate course is the perfect opportunity to learn about topics or areas of my interest. 

I considered take a postgraduate course since I was in the second year of my career. I always want to take a course of international politics, because one of my goals is become an international journalist and I think that this course would give me necessary knowledge to understand how works the outside world.

I would like to study abroad, especially in countries like United States or England. I like EEUU because a teacher recommended me doing my postgraduate there. Also, it is an interesting idea go to this country to stud, because I would have the opportunity to kwon more about the language. About England, I would like to go to this country because I will have the chance to see wonderful places like the Stonehenge and many castles.

If finally I can go to study abroad, I will choose the part-time courses option, because if I will stay in another country, I prefer don’t expend all my time studying and use my free time to know about the culture and make some good memories and experiences.

the job I would like to have

 

The job that I would like to have is working for National Geographic, especially like a writer and photographer. I imagine it like a work based in take photos and write about different parts of the world, like pyramids, excavations and natural disasters.

To me this would my ideal job, because it is an outdoor and indoor job. I would travel around the word, but probably I would go to an office to write about this place and assist to different meetings. I really prefer a job that would be more outdoor that indoor, because I am not good staying still or sit for longtime.

The second reason that I would like to work for National Geographic, is because I love travel, so I think that this kind of job will allow me to travel a lot. Specially to wonderful places and take photos of them. Besides, I always like to explore different places and learn from them.

About the salary, I kwon that magazines and webpages like National Geographic aren´t have a lot of demand, but I want to imagine that this job have a good salary, enough to live and let me save money to the future.

I like to think that I will have a major before working, but I kwon that this is difficult. So, I am thinking of taking a major in international politics. I chose this area because international journalism always caught my attention and if a study this major, I would be more prepared to afront job in other countries.

one of my favorite series

 The pandemic gave me the opportunity to see a lot of different series and animes.Also, I could watch series that I had seen. One of them was Final Space, an animated series about a space prisoner and his adventures with new friends to stop the destruction of the galaxy.

The first time I saw this series was in summer of 2020. I found it for a recommendation from Netflix and at that time I was very bored, so I gave it a chance and it was a good decision, because the series caught me completely.

I have to say that my sense of humor is very simple, so I laugh with everything, including innocent humor like this series categorized it to kids over thirteen years have. 

The second time that I saw it, a week ago, I thought that It could be less funny, but it wasn´t. In fact, I selected a group of scenes that are my favorite ones. One this is when Gary, the main character, had a hallucination in front of a dying star and he saw a caterpillar that showed him his past. In that moment Gary screams at the insect :¡Answer me, you drug dealer caterpillar! At this moment I laugh a lot, because the contexts of  the situation and the personality of the character were very funny.

Another of my favorite moments of the series was when Gary and Avocato, his friend, decided to go rescue Little cato, Avocato son´s, and in that moment they made a fist bump at the same time that the ship teleport them to the planet of lord commander, the evil character. 

I had a lot of good moments when I saw this series, so If you have time and want to laugh a little bit, I recommend you Final Space. I know that it is not for everyone, but if you give it the chance, it's probably that this series will surprise you. 

My favorite book

One of my favorite books is “I ´am the number four”. It´s a science fiction novel written by James Frey, Jobie Hughes and Greg Boose under the pseudonym Pittacus Lore. It´s the first book of seven in the “lorien legacies” series. The story starts with a conflict between two extraterrestrial species, the Loric and the Mogadorians.

  

The result of this conflict was the destroy of loric´s planet, so nine kids and their guardian’s scape to the earth for they can re-build their civilization. But the mogadorias hunt them because these kinds can prevent an invasion to the earth, the next target of the bad aliens.

I found this book in a supermarket when I had fifteen and It was the first book that I read by my own choice. Since then I´m a big fan of this series, I read all their book. I remembered that in one occasion, I started to read at 9 pm and when I looked the cellphone the time was 5 am. This was the first time that a book had catch all my attentions.
In addition, this book was the one who awoke my liking for reading, specially genders like science fiction and fantasy. Tragically, the movie based in the book was awful, because the director didn’t respect structure of the history and changed a lot of important element that affected the cure of the plot.
